The 2026 Non-Surgical Facelift Price Sheet: Ultherapy vs. Sofwave vs. Threads

Three technologies compete for the same face. We collected their published 2026 prices, the honest per-year maintenance math, and the one comparison clinics rarely put side by side.

The 2026 Non-Surgical Facelift Price Sheet: Ultherapy vs. Sofwave vs. Threads

Every non-surgical lift consultation ends at the same question, and it is not about collagen. It is: what will this actually cost, and how often will I pay it again? The answer is scattered across device-maker marketing and clinic price pages that never sit in the same tab. So we collected the published 2026 figures for the three technologies that dominate the category, ultrasound tightening in its two main forms and suspension threads, and built the price sheet the consult room rarely shows.

The 2026 numbers, side by side

Non-surgical facelift sessions run $1,500 to $5,000 depending on technology and area, with most patients spending $2,500 to $4,000 for full face-and-neck work, per Kalon Dermatology's 2026 guide. Within that: Ultherapy averages $2,300 to $2,800 for face and neck, with a national spread of $2,000 to $4,000 by treatment zones, per Krauss Dermatology. Sofwave, the newer ultrasound entrant, publishes real-world 2026 prices of $2,500 to $3,500 for a full face, per GlowNoFilter's price survey, with small areas like the brow from $500. PDO thread lifts run $1,500 to $4,500 per Thervo's 2026 data.

The comparison clinics rarely print

On the collected 2026 figures, Sofwave typically prices $500 to $1,000 below Ultherapy for the comparable full-face treatment, while published clinical comparisons describe the two as delivering similar tightening, with Sofwave edging comfort and Ultherapy reaching slightly deeper planes. That makes depth of laxity, not brand loyalty, the rational deciding variable, and it is an anatomical question a mirror cannot answer.

The per-year math nobody quotes

None of these results are permanent, so the honest unit is cost per year, not cost per session. A full-face ultrasound treatment repeated every 12 to 18 months works out to roughly $2,000 to $3,500 per year of maintained result. Threads last 12 to 24 months depending on material, putting their annualized cost in a similar band despite the different sticker. Quoted per session, the three technologies look far apart; annualized, they converge, which is exactly why clinics quote per session.

Findings worth quoting

From the collected 2026 ranges: the full-face non-surgical lift clusters at $2,500 to $4,000 regardless of which of the three technologies is chosen. Sofwave undercuts Ultherapy by $500 to $1,000 on comparable treatments. Annualized, all three converge near $2,000 to $3,500 per year of maintained result. And the cheapest possible entry point in the category, a small-area ultrasound session near $500, costs about the same as a single syringe of filler, an overlap most patients never have priced for them.

How we collected this

Figures were taken in August 2026 from published cost guides and clinic price pages: Kalon Dermatology, Krauss Dermatology, GlowNoFilter, Thervo, and Regevity. Ranges are reported as published, not averaged. For how each technology actually works under the skin, start here or browse the archive.

The price sheet's real lesson: in this category the technologies compete on comfort, depth, and downtime, because on the only number that compounds, cost per year, they have quietly agreed.
